Missives to Fictional Characters

Dear DearDamnit,

Hello, stranger. Just dropping you a quick line to say this: bah. What gives you the idea I wouldn't be entirely ready, complete with plot, cast etcetera, at this early date of Octob- oh. Bugger. There was me thinking NaNo was actually, er, rather further off than that. So maybe not all the little details are sorted out. But I'm getting there, oh yes! Enough to be blase and sit back in my chair with a Scotch and my smoking jacket, and rub my hands together gleefully because I do have a sort of structure.

I repeat, DearDamnit: bah.

Regards,
Ellie

Dear Newly-Resurrected Missives Blog

Greetings! For yet another caffine-filled month (i.e. I drink *some* coffee as opposed to *no* coffee). It is good to be back, and not yet hair-raisingly terrifying because I have a whole month to come up with plot. For anyone new (I still have no idea who's doing it this year and who isn't), this is the space where you talk to, moan at, insult, complain about and generally poke your characters. Occasionally it even helps.

*raises drink* To a good - or at least completed - Nanowrimo. Start plotting, people.
